SA Bagpiper was founded by Jonathan Visser in 2004 in response to  requests for his expertise in performing the Scottish bagpipes at people’s special events.

We provide carefully selected pipers who all have considerable experience performing in South Africa.

Our pipers are unique because of their ability to perform as individuals at private functions. Our pipers have played all over South Africa at weddings, funerals, birthday parties and corporate events.

We specialise in private events, but have also played at some prestigious  events:

  • New Year’s Eve parties at Sun City Palace
  • The Hilton Hotel Sandton
  • The Michelangelo Hotel Sandton
  • Cape Town Castle for the Cape Town Military Tattoo and
  • Monte Casino in Johannesburg for the S. A. Tattoo
